Fetal Spirit Position (Tai Shen)
Kitchen, stove and bed — West (outside)
The Fetal Spirit (Tai Shen) resides at the kitchen, stove and bed — West (outside) today. Pregnant women should minimise activity around these areas, and avoid moving, renovating, or altering anything there. In traditional Chinese folk custom, disturbing the Fetal Spirit is believed to affect the pregnancy — a cultural belief, not a medical claim.
