Fetal Spirit Position (Tai Shen)
Storehouse and pestle — Northwest (outside)
The Fetal Spirit (Tai Shen) resides at the storehouse and pestle — Northwest (outside) today. Pregnant women should minimise activity around these areas, and avoid moving, renovating, or altering anything there. In traditional Chinese folk custom, disturbing the Fetal Spirit is believed to affect the pregnancy — a cultural belief, not a medical claim.
