What information do I provide? How do I measure the front door orientation?

The easiest way to measure orientation is to stand inside the doorway facing outward and use a compass app on your phone — the direction you face is the front-door orientation. If my renovation scope changes mid-way, do I need to re-select the date?
No — the dongtu reading is anchored to the first cut of earth (or the ceremonial start), not to every subsequent phase of the work.
